Refund & Return Policy

30-day returns on all furniture, no questions asked.

Our promise: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days of delivery or pickup for a full refund. Items must be in their original, undamaged condition.

1. Return Window

You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery or in-store pickup to initiate a return. After 30 days, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for change-of-mind purchases, though our warranty coverage may still apply.

2. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a full refund, returned items must be:

  • In original, unused condition — no stains, tears, odors, or damage caused after delivery
  • Accompanied by your order number
  • Unassembled where applicable, returned in original packaging if possible

Items that show signs of normal use, modification, or damage caused by the customer will be assessed individually. We may offer a partial refund in such cases at our discretion.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we will replace it at no charge or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer. Please inspect your item upon delivery and report any damage to us within 5 business days of receipt. We may request photographs to process a damage claim.

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following cannot be returned:

  • Custom-ordered or made-to-measure pieces where dimensions, fabrics, or finishes were specified by the customer
  • Items that have been assembled, modified, or altered after delivery
  • Items purchased through a third-party retailer (not directly through sofafurniture.shop or our Dallas office)
  • Floor models sold at a discount and marked "final sale" at the time of purchase

5. How to Return an Item

To begin a return, bring your item and order number to our Dallas office during business hours:

Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST

For delivered items that are difficult to transport, please visit us in person to arrange a pickup. Return shipping or pickup logistics for large items will be coordinated case by case.

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Please note that original delivery charges are non-refundable on returns that are not the result of our error or a product defect.

7. Exchanges

We are happy to exchange an item for a different product of equal or greater value (with you paying the difference) within the 30-day return window. Exchanges are subject to product availability at the time of your request.

8. Warranty Claims

Our 5-year frame warranty and 1-year upholstery warranty cover manufacturing defects beyond the standard return window. Warranty claims are evaluated at our Dallas office. Normal wear and tear, fading from sunlight, and damage caused by misuse are not covered under warranty.
